The overall responsibility of the school administrator is to provide leadership for Pike Christian Academy in accordance with the mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures adopted by the school board. Although it is difficult to create a comprehensive list of the administrator’s activities, the administrator oversees all the personnel, students, academic, and financial affairs of the school, preschool, and latchkey programs, as well as cooperating with the school board to provide vision, guidance, and public relations for Pike Christian Academy. The candidate must agree to abide by the PCA Staff Code of Conduct and to have faithful involvement in a local church.
The position will frequently require more than 40 hours per week during the school year, but with reduced responsibilities in the summer, it will generally balance out. The administrator will work on an annual contract that runs from August 1, 2017 to July 31, 2018. The administrator will receive two weeks of paid vacation (to be taken during the summer) following the successful completion of the school year.

A teacher at Pike Christian Academy shall view themselves as a servant and disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. He or she shall faithfully and regularly seek to grow in their relationship with the Lord. They should be an active member who regularly attends a local church. A teacher at PCA should love their students and enjoy working with them on a day-to-day basis. A PCA teacher will be responsible for teaching the prescribed curriculum. Teachers will be responsible for their classroom discipline. Teachers will attend professional meetings, open house, programs, fundraising events, etc. At PCA, good parent relationships are imperative. One should always present himself or herself in a friendly way, speaking to parents on a daily basis. PCA is a ministry that is devoted to teaching the entire child. We strive to teach not only the educational aspect of the child, we also include the physical, mental, emotional and above all the spiritual needs of the students.
Salary: $15,000-$17,500 per year (Salary is based on teaching experience)

Required license or certification: Teaching license preferred or ability to receive a license through the Ohio Department of Education
Required experience: Classroom teaching experience preferred and a clear Christian testimony is required
